Welcome To Scent With No Wick

apple scent
Welcome to my little corner of the web where I will teach you about using fragrance in your home and office in a safer way. We will look at the options of adding a scent with no wick, in other words you won't be using candles that can be a fire hazard.

Not only will I show you examples of ways to make a room smell inviting to those who enter but I will also teach you about the meanings or symbolism of the different fragrances you might choose to use in a room. For instance, you might want to use a romantic aroma in your bedroom but something that smells like baked goods in your kitchen. The scent will set the mood in the room that you have it in. As an example for the kitchen, you might choose something that smells like an apple pie baking in the oven. What that fragrance brings to the mood is a sense of peace of mind, relaxation, wisdom, and love. See, it is so much more than just an aroma in the room.

We will also look at ways of taking scented wax and combining them to make what is often referred to as a "scent recipe". We will stay with the example of the apple from the above paragraph. Instead of a baked apple pie you could use a combination of 3 scents to make your kitchen smell like an apple fritter with this recipe:

  • 1/2 cube of red candy apple
  • 1/2 cube of sticky cinnamon bun
  • 1/2 cube of cinnamon vanilla
How do you get those cubes of scented wax? Well, you can order them from me or your local Scentsy consultant. Obviously, I would prefer that you place the order with me but if you already have a consultant then you should give her or him the order.

We will discuss my business in later posts. Today, I just wanted to introduce myself.
